Carol is a fine art photographer living among the wildlife outside San Marcos, Texas. She began exploring photography after retirement, turning a backyard hobby into a true passion. As a self-taught photographer, she draws inspiration from the many talented friends she has met along her journey.

Carol's work has been featured in over a hundred juried group exhibitions, solo shows, and various media publications. It can be seen periodically at Central Texas galleries including: The Walkers’ Gallery (San Marcos Activity Center), The Price Center in San Marcos, Wimberley Valley Art League Gallery, Georgetown Art Works’ Art Hop, and local studio tours.

Carol is a former board member of Texas Photographic Society and is actively involved in the Hill Country Photography Club where she served as president for a number of years.

Her current work involves creating composites using her extensive collection of wildlife photos. Despite never having been to Africa, her images bring the essence of the continent's wildlife to life … often in surprisingly unique ways!
